Located in the east of Argentina, the city is populated around three million and comprises 48 neighborhoods. The city is encircled with ‘pampas’-an unending smooth land. The city of port is also looked at as an entrance point to Argentina from last many eras.

The locals still are highly influenced by their European heritage and their lifestyle, culture and gastronomy proves it all. All its neighborhoods are however tiny in size but possess their own individual identity.

Argentina is renowned for its wine but for the traditional non-alcoholic beverage you can try ‘mate’- can be drunk with or without sugar. The currency they use is Argentinean currency namely ‘peso’. The weather here is kind enough that will let you be there any month of time a year however, it is quite warm during the months from December to February.

Being there and not watching ‘tango’ dance is like beginning your day without tea. Tango is national dance form of Argentina and like lapping all other indescribable essence of the country, fragrance of ‘tango’ is also present in the winds of Buenos Aires.

After year 2001, the city has witnessed an ample amount of rise in tourism. The city possesses liberal mind-set towards gay community and in the recent past, it has turned out to be one of the greatest tourist spots for the gay travelers.
