Along with all these structures of marvel and wonder, there are about ten medieval churches located right in the heart of the town. These are the places, which visitors, travelers and alike explore on the island. Boasting a wide variety of provisions for the tourists, one can also choose to go about the place with the assistance of helpful guides and tour operators.

We were at Trogir, which is essentially a small medieval town and also an island…
You can spend a day getting lost on the narrow streets of Trogir..The biggest attraction is the seaside promenade where all the yachts harbor..
There are many good restaurants and bars here..It is also a perfect spot sitting and watching people pass!
In the city of Trogir, I really didn’t find beaches but there are small ferries leaving from the castle of Camerlengo- about every half an hour..It takes approximately 15 min and 12 kunas..
Also we were staying in a private apartment…The city is fun!
We were walked through lovely narrow lanes by the local young man who owned Palace Derrosi in Trogir..
The walking tour was the best tour we had of the town…
The rooms were well-kept and large..We were very comfortable during our entire stay here..
I loved the mornings in Trogir, the air smelt of sea!

Honestly enough I hadn’t heard of Trogir before, so I went there with zero expectations..
But I think the city is beautiful really..It is a delightful medieval town which rivals the best that Italy can offer at half the price!
It definitely reminded me of Simione, as it is surrounded by water, and Bergamo because of its proximity to the airport..
It was my perfect well-deserved weekend break…!

I too had been to Trogir for a weekend getaway! It is a small port with a market where you’ll get lovely fruits, vegetables and the quality of alcohol is excellent..
The streets in the old town are narrow..I had ice-cream in Port Caffe, looked at multi-million dollar yachts and soaked in the warm sun rays!
Atmosphere around is extravagant and prices are high too but it is well-worth it!
We checked out Trogir’s Central Supermarket, good variety of food better than average in Europe.
This place is great fro a day’s stay or longer..!
